In the Gallery on a Monday

New scarf and necklace I created last weekend. The colors of Fall are very warming to the spirit, loving the look of the two pieces together.
Loads of new scarves and necklaces dripping with Texture, Color and Movement.......
Attributes to embellish on the jewelry along with antique/vintage/retro buttons for closures ;)

birds

I am in love with these birds from Laura on Spool !
I have made a fun flock bringing in retro fabrics along with some one of a kind pieces from my stash.
They look so cool next to the work bench ;)

Well hello!

New dolls and stuffies being created of all sorts of shapes, sizes and materials. Here I used vintage log cabin quilt patches along with Berenstein Bear fabric on the backs. A shell heart button to give some love.
She is sitting on a brass bracelet mandrel on the gallery workbench.

She is all pattern free with being the first of her kind and all ;) More of her kin to be found in the gallery for the Holidays as well as more herds and flocks showing their woolie and feathered heads.

I am all a 'Twitter'

http://twitter.com/stephdistler
according to Wikipedia
Twitter is a free social networking and micro-blogging service that allows its users to send and read other users' updates (otherwise known as tweets), which are text-based posts of up to 140 characters in length.
Updates are displayed on the user's profile page and delivered to other users who have signed up to receive them. The sender can restrict delivery to those in his or her circle of friends (delivery to everyone being the default). Users can receive updates via the Twitter website, instant messaging, SMS, RSS, email or through an application such as Twitterrific or Facebook. For SMS, four gateway numbers are currently available: short codes for the United States, Canada, and India, as well as a United Kingdom-based number for international use. Several third parties offer posting and receiving updates via email.
As of July 2008, over 2,200,000 accounts were registered.[2]
