1st ANNUAL AMATEUR PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST

Attention All Shutterbugs
Northern Exposure Photography and Custom Framing will be hosting an Amateur Photography Contest during the Annual Autumn Harvest Festival Market Street Johnsonburg , September 15, 2007.

Participation will be limited to Elk county residents.There will be three categories to enter in:

1.) " No place like home" : the 'Burg .
2.) Scenery( landscapes, seascapes, vistas) ,
3.) Nature( flowers,animal, trees, birds).
There will be three entry levels: 1-6 grades , 7-12 grades , including 2007 graduating seniors, and adults of all ages.

The winners of each category will be displayed at Northern Exposure in Milliard Antiques Store 521 Market St. in Johnsonburg.
A People's Choice vote will take place separately on the day of the Festival with the all the entrants photos at Northern Exposure in Milliard Antiques.

Northern Exposure Photography photo contest rules

1) Enjoy photography.
2) Only non-professional photographers are eligible to enter the contest.
Photographers earning less than $500.00 are welcome . Northern Exposure
has final judgment on all other cases .
3) Shutterbugs must reside in Elk county, Pennsylvania.
4) No more than (1) photo per category per person .
5) All photos must be matted or framed in some way to allow to be hung for display.
6) Each entry must have identification on the back of each photo with : name , address, phone, category, & age group .

Photos can be dropped off at Northern Exposure in the Milliard antiques store ,
starting September 8th, 2007 then the photos will be judged on Friday, September 14th.

*Last minute entries please be at Northern Exposure no later than 10:00 am Friday the 14th to allow ample time for preparation.

Any matted or framed photo up to 16 x 20 is eligible.
