Friday Flatlay Photo in the Studio
-In this flatlay: 👆🏼 Moleskine A5 journal, Kaweco sketch-up pencil raw brass, Noodler's Lexington Gray Ink, Kaweco brass sport, Lamy bronze special edition, Conklin All-American golden walnut, TWSBI eco-T mint blue, TWSBI eco-T cement gray, TWSBI Diamond Prussian blue, TWSBI go, Lamy safari vista, Waterman mysterious blue ink, Waterman intense black ink and a Lochby quattro pen case. The 3 that have the new inks in, at the bottom of the journal, are a Sailor fude pen, Pilot plumex calligraphy pen and a TWSBI go.
I will put up another post next week that shows what they are inked up with and what nibs these pens have.
A week ago today I posted about inking up 5 pens for an everyday carry and being more minimal. The purpose of keeping the selection small was to help with maintenance. Pens tend to dry out if not used regularly. The TWSBI pens have not had this issue to be honest, nor the Lamy over the months. Also, each one either has a converter attached or is filled with bottled ink. None are using ink cartridges. It is a game changer to be able to pick from different shades of each color and not just the limited choices offered from a company. Diamine's Ancient Copper is my next purchase. Look at this packaging and rich color! Inks can be shimmery, filled with sparkle, shading, matte, waterproof, etc. etc. I get into trouble, when on a painting stint, and buy more watercolors, palettes and brushes every time. My pen obsession has come back with a vengeance, LOL.
