Weekly Aspirations

 


Did you stay warm this past week?  It was such a wild week weatherwise.

    Aspirations for the Week- Week 9 of 2022

    1. prepare another artist interview  
    2. start journaling in a beautiful new journal
    3. continue to cut out all of the components, blanks, jump rings for a wholesale order and also place a sheet metal/wire order. :)
    4. taxes
    5. use the manual typewriter
    6. continue to experiment with new metalsmithing techniques 
    7. continue to take new studio photos taken while filling orders for the Conservation Shops
    8. try the one pot chicken and rice dish I found recently
    9. take advantage of the wholesale orders and start making jewelry videos, keeping them short and sweet
    10. continue to sketch ArtDoll concepts
    11. take a walk 
    12. catch up on reading
    13. make pickled red onions this week
    14. Shrimp tacos with guacamole this week
    15. set-up the display window in the Brick Block
    16. start thinking about direct sowing spinach and snow pea seeds in the gardens
    17. continue giving the houseplants a bit of fertilizer
    18. dust, dust, dust
    19. get the bedroom ready to paint with Sherwin Williams verdigreen
    20. take more boxes to Goodwill
    21. presents for birthdays coming up in March!!! One down 3 to go :)

    Aspirations for the Week- Week 8 of 2022

    1. prepare another artist interview  
    2. start journaling in a beautiful new journal
    3. now that I have ordered/found 16 gauge copper sheet I can cut out all of the components, blanks, jump rings for a wholesale order and also place a sheet metal/wire order. Hoot, hoot!
    4. More Preparing the Johnsonburg Farmers' and Artisans' Market schedule, rules & regulations and other details for 2022
    5. make branded key chains for wholesale order
    6. use the manual typewriter
    7. experiment with new metalsmithing techniques 
    8. new studio photos taken while filling orders for the Conservation Shops
    9. a chicken and rice dish with roasted vegetables
    10. take advantage of the wholesale orders and start making jewelry videos, keeping them short and sweet
    11. start sketching ArtDoll concepts
    12. take a walk 
    13. catch up on reading
    14. make pickled red onions 
    15. Shrimp tacos with guacamole 
    16. set-up the display window in the Brick Block
    17. plan what seeds to start for the gardens 
    18. start giving the houseplants a bit of fertilizer
    19. dust, dust, dust
    20. get to Aldi's
    21. break down boxes and ready bottles to take to the recycling center
    22. presents for birthdays coming up in March!!!
    I have created a blog post everyday this month to celebrate 17 years of In and Out of the Studio! It is great to set-up challenges and then even better when you follow through with those challenges successfully.
