List Monday
It is almost dark here in Elk County and the husband is still out digging potatoes. The result of Summer Solstice, in the Northern Hemisphere, is not our favorite time of the year. We do love our longer days and having more time to get stuff done. At least bringing in the potatoes is checked off the list. Now to trim the garlic for winter storage and put the summer pillows/blankets away.
The sauerkraut is in its 3rd week of fermenting and our first attempt. One of these days we are going to make Kimchi, I swear. I love the idea of making sauerkraut on the counter like Farmhouse on Boone
