List Monday

 

This past Sunday Herb and I enjoyed a drive to Warren, Pa. where we got an early dinner at Taco, Inc., shopped for groceries at Aldi's and then ate ice cream parfaits at Dairy Queen before heading back home to beat the winter storm. We always listen to podcasts while slurping down our ice cream in the parking lot.  Yesterday it was Remembering Chris Farley Pt. 2 | Full Episode | Fly on the Wall with Dana Carvey and David Spade  It is so crazy that Chris has been gone for 25 years.  I loved hearing about his home life from Chris's brothers and mom.  It was so good to spend time with my man. 

I am having so much fun making IG stories and reels lately!  Keeping them simple has been the goal  with just adding links, tags and a few words.  Experimenting with call to action on stories and reels will be a great way to further draw interest also to SDS.  My artisan business does not have a downtown brick and mortar so I love using social media as my doorway or entrance into the studio/shop.  Let's get on with the list!

Aspirations for the Week- Week 4 of 2023

1. new 2023 set-up for my Traveler's Notebook
2. send out minutes/financial report for end of month JCT meeting
3. continue with new Spring designs for SDS
4. schedule another JCT grant committee meeting
5. Schedule JCT Design Committee meeting
6. research for group coming in March to tour the Brick Block
7. IG stories
8. take inventory of materials for Spring wholesale orders i.e. sheet metal, wire, chain and branded blanks
9. schedule more interviews for artist/artisan blog posts
10. make more smoothies
11. plan garden beds and start cleaning them out after this last storm is over and the snow melts, lol
12. Finish Inktober pen and inks.  I have (5) left!  
13. spare room struggle, just start
14. get ready for writing a blog post every day in February with new ideas, themes and stories
15. create a newsletter for Stephanie Distler Studios or start one!
16. take a walk
17. recycling 
18. continue to build up inventory for Spring wholesale orders by making charm blanks, jump rings, pendant blanks, cuffs, etc. throughout the winter into the spring
19. make a big pot of split pea soup 
20. experiment with new jewelry techniques for prayer pieces and earrings using those beautiful beads
21. order more fountain pen friendly tablets
22. play around with new wee charm designs for the PA Wilds Conservation Shops

1. transplant current cuttings that are popping out of their jars
2. send out JCT agenda for end of month meeting
3. continue with new Spring designs for SDS

6. ECCOTA meeting on Tuesday

8. take inventory of materials for Spring wholesale orders i.e. sheet metal, wire, chain and branded blanks
9. schedule more interviews
10. raw cashews for smoothies
11. plan garden beds and start cleaning them out
12. Finish Inktober pen and inks.  I have (5) left!

15. mend my boyfriend jeans with Sashiko stitches/patching
