List Monday

Saving buttons, jeans, kraft packing paper, glass jars, tins and boxes has turned into a bear of a mess over the decades in this house.  Beautiful buttons are such wee treasures that can be repurposed in jewelry designs or to replace ordinary buttons on a jacket/shirt to make an extraordinary addition to my wardrobe.  Thank goodness I saved jeans, through the years, for I am really enjoying Sashiko mending techniques that calls for denim. Kraft packing paper makes its way under the Christmas tree around gifts, glass jars for drinking glasses, tins are great to contain and organize bits in the studio as well as sturdy small boxes to hold projects or organize materials/tools.  I love a well branded sturdy box or tin!  That branding and design is not lost on me, it is so inspiring.
What is your latest repurpose/upcycle story?

take care, be safe-

Stephanie
