Friday Flatlay in the Studio

  • copper sheet
  • assorted shapes in copper from my pancake die collection used on Potter USA hydraulic press
  • Pepe disc cutter
  • custom made PA Wilds branded stamp specifically for use with the hydraulic press
  • wire/sheet metal thickness gauge
  • spent sheet metal from pressing out disc for wee charms

This past Wednesday SDS welcomed Hannah Brock, PA Wilds Conservation Shop & Licensing Manager, as well as Libby Bloomquist, Sustainable Commerce Director, in the studio for a Merchandising Licensee check-in.  This was the first of many check-ins and a very productive meet-up.  We talked about creating branded jewelry or wholesaling with other businesses in the PA Wilds, upcoming Spring wholesale orders for Kinzua & Leonard Harrison State Parks as well as new design ideas to sell at these parks.  I loved seeing these two talented ladies and giving them the tour.
The above flatlay is of the materials and tools needed to start punching out discs for the many, many Wee Forest Charms and pendants to start filling wholesale orders.  I took inventory last week to make sure copper sheeting, ball chain, wire, stainless steel bottle openers, split rings, leather, faux strapping and so on was on hand.  The inventory seems to be spot on for whatever orders come my way.
