List Monday, on a Tuesday

For the last 3 years October has become Inktober for me.  Is that good or bad? Does keeping up with pen/ink sketches keep me from being present during the last warm days of fall? Not this year is the answer. I am keeping sketches very small and simple this year and not being as precious with finding the perfect watercolor journal or pens. The main reason for keeping it small and simple is because the work load for the nonprofit, I am president of, has grown dramatically with building out the 12 units of the 1890s Brick Block and also trying to keep up with Stephanie Distler Studios artisan business.  It is allll good because I am learning so much about architecture, grants, history,, etc.as this amazing group of volunteers makes a difference in the town/region.
