List Monday

This week everything has fallen into place allowing me to creatively systematize the studio.  For months now there just has not been enough maker juice left in my body to also allow for Stephanie Distler Studios to prosper and grow. It is okay though, because now, Johnsonburg is going to have a Heritage Education Center (HEC) and the Johnsonburg Community Trust (JCT) will finally have a brick and mortar in this much needed space, The HEC will serve as an office for JCT activities, a visitor center, museum, education, workshops, umbrella for nonprofits, small business support, etc.

Aspirations for the Week- Week 48 of 2023

1. Christmas Eve menu
2. more tool and studio vignette photo shoots
3. light up night and Santa Parade downtown Johnsonburg
4. start sketching everyday once again
5. blog post about the first board of directors of the JCT
6. continue decorating for Christmas
7. make pomanders 
8. leave early for recycling on Wednesday to look through vintage cookbooks
9. list new cuffs and rings
10. create leather mountain scape cuffs
11. start punching out blanks for spring wholesale orders wee charms, mountain camping scenes, cuffs, mandalas, etc.
12. find the collets and holder for my bench lathe
13. make turkey rice soup or freeze the bone broth...hmmm
14. maintenance on plants
15. order presents
16. brush the dog out
17. mend my old boyfriend jeans using Sashiko stitching method
18. take a walk
19. continue working on winter jewelry, fiber and mixed media designs
20. drink more water
21. clean before decorating
22. doors on spare room cabinet

1. newsletter for SDS
2. Start to make room for new tools!
3. keep working on Inktober sketches, I am not over thinking this process
4. blog post about the first board of directors of the JCT
5. clean-up and organize studio
6. new studio photos of vignettes throughout the space
7. leave early for recycling on Wednesday to look through vintage cookbooks
8. list new cuffs and rings
9. create leather mountain scape cuffs
10. start punching out blanks for spring wholesale orders wee charms, mountain camping scenes, cuffs, mandalas, etc.
11. revamp jewelry sale area in studio
