friday flatlay in the studio

This Friday Flatlay is mainly made up of some recent tools I purchased as we head into 2024.  The main focus here is the Easy Saw clamp that makes piercing less stressful on the body.  There are 2 plates, one used as you see here to clamp smaller pieces, which is purchased separately and the other is for work that is over 2.5".  Being able to clamp down copper, brass or silver shapes from sheet metal, to pierce tree pendants, with equipment that lets the user rotate up to 360°, is wonderful. My husband helped with installation.

  1. Foredom 12-Piece Mounted Polisher Assortment
  2. Nano jeweler saw blades in a Kerf
  3. Easy Saw jeweler's maker clamp
  4. Knew Concepts MK4 High-Tension Jeweler's 5" Saw Frame with Cam Lever and Swivel
  5. GRS Benchmate dovetailed bench plate, mounting adapter and bench pin attachment
  6. Pepelube for sawing
The Nano saw blades are great as well as the Kerf holder that keeps all 144 blades in place. The holder also is useful when choosing what size blade is best while sawing into different gauges of metal.  I also put off purchasing the GRS Benchmate system for years because of the price point but, decided to deck out the workbench with this great system, after watching Melissa Muir's instructional video reviewing this useful tool.

I pray that you all are having a fabulous holiday season with friends and family! After Winter Solstice, December 21st, I definitely can feel the days getting brighter and longer. What tools did you receive or buy recently to help you, work?

enjoy, take care-

Stephanie
