Wet Felting and Lou

Waiting to be spun, embellished and wet felted!
After arranging a sheet of roving on the mat, Lou pour the hot soapy water all over its surface.
Work it in evenly....
Rolls the piece up between the bamboo mat and towels to start the rolling friction, process...
Rolling for about 10 minutes with checking in between to adjust creases.

She has been felting on the living room floor as of late w/thick plastic under. These mats were purchased from Big Lots back in June for the classes she taught at ECCOTA. They are actually beach mats..
