Christmas Cookie Baking

Herb's family Recipe of Molasses Cookies

3/4 cup melted butter or Crisco
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup molasses
1 egg
2 tsp. baking soda
2 cup flour
1/2 tsp. cloves
1/2 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. salt

Cream sugars and butter then add egg. Combine all dry ingredients with creamed mixture. Drop on greased cookie sheet flatten with a sugar coated glass bottom.

8-10 minutes at 375 degrees F.

note: this makes a very small batch
