*The night previous I helped out with the ECCOTA benefit concert in setting out the food for the 'Meet the Artist' reception after. These are some of the delicious cookies donated from the event. I did not have to bake ;)

Class working on their keyrings,
along with their lovely leaders.
I gave them a bit of knowledge about the personality of wire. We formed, hammered and wrapped our way to a beautiful keyring. This combination of beading and wire gave them some insite into color, texture and flow.

Monkey Simple Neckpiece with Lampwork
4mm Riverstone beads used as spacers for artist created lampwork featuring a fun monkey lampwork bead in the mix.
You have to love these funky beads on such a simple stringing of thought.
Simplistic styling in jewelry is a nice compliment with modern styles and especially retro fashions of the day. A concentration on simple shapes is refreshing from time to time.

Simple pendants---Faux Cherry Quartz center pendant and facet tube Adventurine
Simple pendants---Faux Cherry Quartz center pendant and facet tube Adventurine
Originally uploaded by mossnbeads.
I have been craving just a simple neck display lately and have created an entire series on this thought.
A choker length piece using faux Cherry Quartz as the center w/Adventurine and a gorgeous thick Sterling Silver Toggle for the finish.
This Cherry Quartz bead is so beautiful against the blueish green faceted tubes of Adventurine.
Double crimped for strength and using same color seed beads inbetween each bead for added beauty and draping.

Easter gathering
It was just a gorgeous night which allowed the lighting of a fire to chat over for the rest of the evening.
Very memorable Holiday....

rearranging and cleaning for outdoor life
It was a nice place for guests to land during our Easter gathering, for the weather was in the 70's.

Happy Easter
My girls will egg and basket hunt later in the day, before dinner.
I have a couple wonderful friends coming in along with some family.
We will have dinner here of Brown Sugar Glazed Ham w/pineapples&cherries, baked molasses beans, potatoe salad, deviled eggs, pickled eggs, rice pudding, sweet potatoes and an assortment of leek/ramp goodies. A couple different dips, a butter and even leek jerkey. We will truly be a smelly bunch, ;)

Home
I am finally home and settled in. I had a hard first couple days here with the wandering about the house, seeing her everywhere and in everything. I think I am into a groove now ;) I certainly hope so anyway.
We bought her cupboards full of bulk items from local co-op and found a scant amount of cool vintage/modern furniture finds to make it comfy.

The girl does love her books and friend's artwork
yet to be hung funstuff.....
She is going to see Director/writer/producer John Waters today and Producer Ralph Singleton
sometime soon. Too much fun!
The school is wonderful and offers tons of opportunities in her field. Once one is a Full Sail student you are forever and can always come back for free classes once graduated.
It is all about the networking from school to the entertainment industry and back again.
