Here is a description of the exchange students that will be available also with set-ups and talks along with the French Club soup sale:

The French Club of Johnsonburg Area High School will be conducting a fundraiser at Saturday's event to help with the cost of their trip to Quebec in April 2008. $5 will buy you a bowl of whole grain soup, home made bread, coffee and a dessert, which will really hit the spot on a crisp, fall day. Orders will also be taken for the packaged soups, which are all natural and whole grain. These soups make a perfect addition to any pantry and also a perfect Christmas gift. Plan to have your lunch on Saturday at the Historic Johnsonburg Community Center and help out the French Club, too.

Two foreign exchange students will be present at the community center on Saturday to talk about their country and culture. Sanja from Montenegro attends Kane Area High School, and Noman from Afghanistan attends Johnsonburg Area High School. Both students are in the United States through the organization American Councils for International Education, whose purpose is to promote international and cultural understanding through one on one exchanges with the youth of each country.

This is just the beginning of many wonderful happenings in the future with the The Town, Johnsonburg Community Center and Gallery!

Thank-you for all of your support!
