List Monday


Punxsutawney Phil, Seer of Seers, Sage of Sages, Prognosticator of Prognosticators, and Weather Prophet Extraordinaire has scene his shadow predicting another 6 weeks of Winter.  We are on the other side of Winter heading towards the vernal equinox, March 20th.  I am so ready for warm breezes, soil and gardening to fill the day when not in the studio.  Aren't you?  

Aspirations for the Week- Week 6 of 2023

  1. organize a Friday Flatlay of fountain pens
  2. Johnsonburg Community Trust Meeting with HRG (Borough Consultants) Thursday :) :) :)
  3. post every day on In and Out of the Studio blog
  4. flush out some of my houseplants, mid winter spa treatment for them
  5. schedule another event committee meeting
  6. Schedule JCT Design Committee meeting to go over old Design guides from 1998
  7. help local LLC with their email list
  8. research for group coming in March to tour the Brick Block, talk also to local historian
  9. pick-up bottled water
  10. continue creating IG stories
  11. refresh website to make sure that everything is relevant and current
  12. blog the next artisan's interview 
  13. make a big pot of chicken broth and can or freeze 
  14. take a walk
  15. more embroidery posts with February being National Embroidery Month
  16. make a big pot of  Zuppa Toscana
  17. get ready to make clay beads, birds, leaves and mushrooms with picking a palette and conditioning the clay
  18. play around with new wee charm designs for the PA Wilds Conservation Shops i.e. floral, woodsy, mountain scenes, etc.
  19. I can't find my brown dress pants, where the hey!
  20. Terra-Cotta Tuesday posts!  I love this hashtag/theme <3
  21. make room for starting seeds on the kitchen plant stand w/ grow lights
  22. make 16 gauge and 14 gauge copper 
  23. experiment with a glass cloche on one of my more humid loving plants.  I may get obsessed with this look, lol.  
  24. research for a reading light over the couch in the living room.

Aspirations for the Week- Week 5 of 2023

  1. finish cleaning the last of the Parallel Pilot fountain pens
  2. meeting with Hannah- the Conservation Shop & Licensing Manager for the PA Wilds, on Wednesday
  3. Leave No Trace webinar on Wednesday
  4. schedule another JCT grant committee meeting
  5. Schedule JCT Design Committee meeting to go over old Design guides from 1998
  6. research for group coming in March to tour the Brick Block, talk also to local historian
  7. IG stories
  8. plant current houseplant cuttings
  9. schedule more interviews for artist/artisan blog posts
  10. make a big pot of chicken broth
  11. plan garden beds and start cleaning them out after this last storm is over and the snow melts, lol
  12. Finish Inktober pen and inks.  I have (5) left!  
  13. finish my interview for February
  14. take a walk
  15. recycling for our household and the plastic film at the Brick Block to receive benches for the downtown
  16. February is National Embroidery Month, happy dance :)
  17. Take photos of mending my jeans and chambray shirt with using Sashiko stitching
