Friday Flatlay in the Studio

  • Coffee cup custom created by Marie of Pine Springs Pottery, #PAWildsmade
  • Johnsonburg Illustrated Review published in 1895 by the town newspaper company at that time
  • A History of Johnsonburg:  1810-1985
  • New addition to my reading and researching, this magnifying glass
  • a pile of The Elk Horns, Pointed Facts of the Elk County Historical Society, from the year they started in the mid 60s to 2008
  • Johnsonburg's Commercial Historic District registration form
  • Articles written by historian Kevin Barwin which includes Whose Brick is this Anyway?, Brick Block shops & businesses since 1890 and Market Street Memories.
  • Rhodia notebook, Blackwing pencil sharpener, vintage Bostitch stapler and assorted note and highlighting writing implements
  • A folder taken out of the basement of the 1st unit where the Anna B shop was in the 1950s.
A flatlay collection of the research materials I am using to give some new life to a talk and tour coming up next week.  No matter how many times I go through these materials there is always something new and fascinating I can absorb or learn about the oldest borough in the county.

enjoy, take care-

Stephanie
